Best Management Practices

A new Rural Stormwater Management Model event-based computer model to understand and manage runoff, in a truly rural context, will help determine the best projects, at the best locations, and the best size.

A Watershed-Based Best Management Practices Evaluation (WBBE) project called Crops and Creeks Huron, with participation of the Huron County Federation of Agriculture and local landowners, is helping to evaluate the costs and benefits of best management practices from economic and environmental bases.
